Emily Nelson, Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), will present a program on water quality in the Cloquet River Watershed.  In 2015 and 2016, the organization collected water quality data from 10 lakes within the watershed.  The MPCA is using that data, along with data collected by volunteers, to assess water quality.  Pequaywan Lakes are part of that watershed. Emily will also explain the testing SWCD will be doing this summer on Lake Pequaywan, measuring several parameters with a sonde (dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, and temperature), and taking a secchi measurement (at no cost to us).
